DHI IP works with individual researchers and with institutions on patentability assessment, prior-art analysis and the drafting of specifications that describe technical work accurately without narrowing it unnecessarily.

For institutions, the work extends to supporting internal IP processes: identifying protectable outcomes across departments, keeping records in order and supporting the transfer or licensing of technology developed on campus.
